Secondhand review: Glenny’s Soy Crisps

glennys1I will admit to liking the rice cake. Not the big ones, mind you, but the smaller ones. I like the minis. Quaker makes a ranch flavor that I like to use as a chip substitute. Well wandering around the Internet I found this review for a brand of soy crisps that I’d never heard of — Glenny’s Low Fat Lightly Salted Soy Crisps. They look a lot like rice cakes. And not to ruin the ending for you, but the skeptical reviewer seems to be won over by the natural potato taste in a  product with no potatoes. I am impressed by these health stats: 10 grams of protein at only 140 calories per bag.

We have a CVS down the street from us. I may have to see if I can find a bag of these and try them for myself. If I can I’ll try and report back.
